It doesn’t work for me either, using Firefox 8. Pasting the link into the address bar has no affect and doesn’t bring up the option to add Hotmail. What am I doing wrong?!

Sorry, I made a mistake with the versions of ubuntu. I upgrade from 11.04 to 11.10.
The problem was solved by desabling the option “touchpad lock when writing” and rebooting.

Acer Aspire 1694 LMi. Touchpad does’nt work after v.10.11 upgrade from v.10.04.

make sure you ran the command right:

wget -O run.py http://www.alsa-project.org/hda-analyzer.py

i forgot that it ended in a .py, not .pv because it the “y” looks like a “v”

I got sound on restart or after suspend to ram. Got the problem with the earphones solved and got a working mic recording.

Thanks!! It really works for my Timeline 3830TG as well!
However, when I plugged earphone, the internal speaker keep working.
I expect when I plug earphone, the speaker should be stopped.
Do you know how to solve this problem?
